Monika Patel, a professional fashion designer, has always had a passion for creativity and spirituality. While designing clothes for clients, her journey took a divine turn when she began creating beautiful outfits for deities.
In 2021, Monika offered her first handmade vastra to a temple as seva. The temple authorities were so impressed with the design, quality, and detailing that they placed orders. Soon, orders from other temples began pouring in, and what started as a passion transformed into a full-fledged business. Today, Monika has completed five years in the vagha designing industry.
Monika’s vision is not only to create exquisite deity clothing but also to build a business that uplifts and supports the community. Her journey is a testament to how passion, skill, and a generous heart can create something truly divine.
Monika’s business is a unique blend of her exceptional designing skills and deep-rooted spirituality. Initially, she worked alone, but over time she expanded her team by hiring freelancers and helpers. Now, she leads a dedicated team of five women, all of whom come from underprivileged backgrounds. This initiative not only ensures the creation of beautiful handmade masterpieces but also provides a livelihood to those in need. Every piece created at her studio is a heavy, theme-based masterpiece, crafted with utmost devotion. The designs are inspired by festivals and occasions, using raw materials that are meticulously handmade.
